The critics weren't the only ones who responded favorably to Pacific Symphony's current American Composer's Festival, a Celebration of Nowruz, the Persian New Year, featuring Iranian conductor Farhad Mechkat, the Shams Ensemble and the premiere of Richard Danielpour's epic oratorio "Toward a Season of Peace," now through March 27. 2012.
