The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra began its 2020/2021 season—the orchestra's 141st—with SLSO On the Go, a series of outdoor, socially distanced concerts for small gatherings of people. SLSO On the Go concerts visited several community places throughout the St. Louis area, including healthcare facilities, senior communities, and public spaces. The St. Louis County Parks and Recreation Department generously loaned the SLSO its mobile stages as a setting for these concerts, which included performances by string quartets, brass ensembles, and others. The SLSO is grateful to hosts, including BJC Institute of Health, St. Luke’s Hospital, Tower Grove Park, Forest Park, the Missouri History Museum, Laumeier Sculpture Park, Crown Center for Senior Living, and others for hosting SLSO On the Go. The SLSO's 2020/2021 season is sponsored by the Steward Family Foundation.
