Thank you teachers! The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra appreciates you and the important work you do every day to connect students with music and create lifelong music lovers who are curious and engaged with music. The SLSO is inspired by teachers who go above and beyond to connect with their students. One of the ways the SLSO works with teachers is through Carnegie Hall’s Link Up, which gives students a hands-on approach to learning music through singing and recorder playing, culminating in a concert with the SLSO at Powell Hall. A few of our Link Up teachers teamed up with a message for all the 6,000 students who practiced for Link Up: The Orchestra Moves but were unable to perform at Powell Hall this school year. Enjoy this performance from some of our inspiring SLSO Link Up teachers performing "Come to Play" by Tom Cabaniss!
