Salmon Lake from "Three Lakes" Sonata for Flute and Piano by Daniel Dorff (b.1956), with Jeremy Denk, piano About the Performers Subin Cho (flute), 17, from Keller, Texas is a recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. She started playing the flute when she was 10 and has been studying with Monica Song for eight years and Won Lee for four years. This fall, she begins studies at the Peabody Institute of Music under Marina Piccinini. She was a member of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra and 6A Texas All-State (2017 and 2018).
