The Seattle Symphony presents its first-ever Piano Competition, September 15–18 at Benaroya Hall, and you are invited! More information about tickets, contestants and judges can be found here: The competition, featuring eight up-and-coming pianists from an international pool of contestants, will take place in three rounds on September 15, 16 and 18. In addition to a $10,000 cash prize, the First Prize Winner will perform at the Seattle Symphony’s Opening Night Gala Concert on September 19. The audience is invited to follow all three rounds of the competition at Benaroya Hall and cast their votes for the Audience Favorite Award at the Finals. Tickets for the Recital Round and Semi-Finals are free, but must be reserved in advance. Tickets for the Finals are available for $15.
