Thank you guys for your thoughts! It's really what I needed to hear. I've always been the type "if you want something done, do it yourself", and unfortunately (most times) that goes for my dating life too. I've always been on the agressive. I'm taking a step back this time, and waiting for him to come to me. If it happens, it happens. If not, we'll always have our random run-in I can look back on. Can I ask one more question? Regarding a completely different guy? I've been friends with Jake for about 8 months now. We used to work together, then he left our company and now works with my sister at her company. We are extremely close, however, here's the catch: I feel like I'm in a long term relationship with him. We do things couples do together like, movie/dinner/drinks on a Friday, I stay at his place and the next day we go out for breakfast, shop and run errands, watch TV, etc. I spend a lot of my time with him. I've been attracted to him since the get-go. Him, I'm unsure. He told me when we first met that I wasn't his type, so in my mind, we were friends. But the more he's learning about me, the more comfortable he gets with me, the more I see him possibly changing his tune. If a guy is not interested from the start, what are the chances that changes? I know that's fairly general and every guy is different so there probably isn't a solid yes or no. But I sleep with him in his bed (we haven't even kissed), he is spending all of the holidays with me and my family, and to be honest, "everyone" (everyone who knows us both) either think we're together or that we should be. I actually told Jake about Matt, from my original post, and he came off as jealous. When I tell him about other guys I've dated, he acts a little jealous. I'm afraid this may be a situation where he doesn't want me, but he doesn't want anyone else to have me either. I'm torn on whether or not to have a conversation with him about all of this, or just see where it goes (laying off on the agressiveness again). Thanks so much! You guys are great.
