Hatmaker enjoys a varied career as performer, educator and entrepreneur.
She is the cofounder and Executive/Artistic Director of Art of Élan (www.artofelan.org),
a San Diego chamber music organization committed to bringing classical music to
diverse audiences, and has been a violinist with the San Diego Symphony since
