Hailed by Newsday for “extraordinary musicianship”, cellist Brinton Averil Smith has performed throughout the US and around the world as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. Mr. Smith is the principal cellist of the Houston Symphony and a professor at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music.
