Narciso Yepes (1927-1997) was a 20th century Spanish composer, arranger and guitarist.  He began studying and performing on the guitar at an early age, eventually learning interpretation under George Enescu and Walter Gieseking, and informally with Nadia Boulanger in Paris.  A song Yepes had written during childhood (Romance) became the theme of the film Forbidden Games (Jeux interdits) in 1952, and he wrote several other pieces for the soundtrack as well.
