Biography
Ivan Sichka, violinist, student of 5th year of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

I was born June 6, 1988 in Murmansk. In 6 years he started to play music from 1995 to 2003 he studied at the musical school in Murmansk with Galina Kotova. During the school repeatedly became the laureate of city and regional competitions, graduated with specializes: violin and piano.
In 2003 he entered in Murmansk Music College in the class of Lyudmila Zagrebelnaya. Since that time, actively participate in the concert life of the city and region. While studying at college three times became the prize-winner of some international competitions:
• All-Russian open competition of performers on stringed instruments named after Andrey Korsakov (Tver 2005)
• International Competition "Classical Heritage" (Moscow 2006)
• Governor's International Youth Competition named after Valery Gavrilin (Vologda 2007)
During these years for their achievements in the field of art repeatedly became a Fellow of the mayor of Murmansk, the governor of the Murmansk region, won city and regional awards.
In 2007 he graduated from college and in the same year I entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
NowI study in the class of Professor Michael Gotsdiner. Actively participate in the Conservatory concerts, as well as in concerts in his native city (Murmansk) and area. Take part in the concerts of the Murmansk Philharmonic Society as well as in music projects of Scandinavian countries.
In May 2010, represented the Murmansk region in the IX Youth Delphic Games of Russia (Moscow region), which also recently awarded a prize.
Also in 2010 play as soloist with the Orchestra of the Murmansk Philharmonic (Mozart, Concerto in A major for violin and orchestra). Conductor - Alan Cook (Australia), this program is invited to tour 25 cities of Australia, which is scheduled for October-November 2011. For the season 2011-2012 in the Murmansk Philharmonic is scheduled a few concerts with my participation (including the next performance with the Philharmonic Orchestra as well as chamber evening (partner - the winner of international competitions, Fellow of Mstislav Rostropovich - Sergei Mitin).

Since 2007, actively involved in the musical life of the Scandinavian countries. In 2007 and 2008 participated in the project Arctic Youth Symphony Orchestra (Harstad, Norway). In 2009 I was invited to perform a solo concert in the city of Tromso (Norway). With the same (2009), the permanent member of chamber and symphonic programs of the Norwegian National Youth Orchestra (Norges Ungdomssymfonikerne). With this orchestra has spoken in the cities: Elverum, Oslo, Sandelfiord, Copenhagen, Berlin, Wroclaw, Legnica, including a quartet programs.
In late 2010 has passed the competitive selection of Symphony Orchestra YouTube. Performances of this orchestra was been in March 2011 on the stage of Sydney Opera House (Australia). From 2011 became a musician of Baltic Youth Philharmonic.

Was play concerts in Russia, Norway, Sweeden, Danmark, Australia, Italy, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland.

From 2011 became a artistic director of Norwegian-Russian-Poland ensemble "Project NORD". The first season of this ensemble will in February 2012 and will consist from concerts in S.Petersburg (Chamber Hall of Conservatory), Moscow (Maly Hall of Tchaikovsky Conservatory), Tromso (Nordlysfestivalen), Murmansk (Philharmonic Society).

Is the hero of several publications in the regional media of the Murmansk region (articles in newspapers “Evening Murmansk” and “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, movies by TV “Murman” "TV-21" and TV “Blitz”) as well as mentions in the national and international media.

At the moment I have a repertoire of concertos for violin and orchestra: Mozart (5), Mendelssohn (E minor, double concerto for violin and piano D-minor), Bruch (G minor), Vieuxtemps (5), Prokofiev (2), Schostakovich (1,2), sonatas for Violin and Piano: Beethoven (1,5), Grieg (2), Karaev, Schostakovich, Ravel (G major), Prokofiev (2), as well as concert pieces (eg: Gypsy Airs and Introduction and Tarantella (Sarasate), Fantasia on themes from the opera Gounod's "Faust," Polonaise in A Major, Scherzo-Tarantella (Wieniawski), Rhapsody for Violin and Orchestra "Tzigane" (Ravel), and many others).
