Peter Rubins is a member of the San Antonio Symphony, the Principal Horn of the San Antonio Opera, and teaches at UTSA.

His major teachers have been Dale Clevenger, Forrest Standley, and Arthur Goldstein. He has previously performed multiple long-term contracts with the Pittsburgh Symphony and his freelance credits include; the Chicago Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Orchesta Sinfonica de Galicia, Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Ballet, Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, and the Renaissance City Woodwind Quintet.

In addition, he has performed hundreds of each of the following Broadway touring productions: CatsLes MiserablesMiss Saigon, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, and The Phantom of the Opera.

He has also played for pop stars, TV/radio commercials, and local theater productions too numerous to mention. You can listen to Mr. Rubins with the Pittsburgh Symphony on; Sony Classical, Telarc, Exton, and New World Records.
