Biography
Hailed by the New York Times as “an eloquent and potent soloist”, flutist Jesse Schiffman recently received his Master of Music degree at The Juilliard School. He performs regularly with the Juilliard Orchestra, the Axiom Ensemble, and the New Juilliard Ensemble as well as throughout New York City with The Chelsea Symphony, the ART Symphony, Insonica Orchestra, One World Symphony, the Manhatttan Symphony, and the New York Chamber Virtuosi.
Through fellowships from The Juilliard School, Mr. Schiffman has performed throughout New York City at hospitals and other care facilities. He has served as flute instructor at P.S. 7 from 2008-2010.

Mr. Schiffman's festival experience includes the Castleton Music Festival, the Sarasota Music Festival, the German-Scandinavian Youth Philharmonic (Berlin, Germany), the Orchestra Institute Attergau (Austria), and the Colorado College Summer Music Festival.  Mr. Schiffman has performed in festivals and events throughout New York City including Bargemusic, Wall-to-Wall Opera, the River to River festival, and 2010 Fashion Week.

Mr. Schiffman received his Bachelors of Music Degree from the Manhattan School of Music and his Masters of Music Degree from The Juilliard School. He studied with Anne Diener Zentner, Michael Parloff, Robert Langevin, and Carol Wincenc.
