Annalisa Boerner, viola, earned her Bachelor of Music in 2010 from the Cleveland Institute of Music under the tutelage of Jeffrey Irvine and is now a second year Master of Music candidate at CIM, where she studies replique montre with Lynne Ramsey of the Cleveland Orchestra.   Annalisa was named CIM’s Presser Scholar for the 2009-2010 school year, a designation based on her outstanding musical and academic achievements.  Annalisa has collaborated with such artists as the Cavani String Quartet, the Claremont Trio, and members of the Cleveland Orchestra in concert, and is a member of CIM’s New Music Ensemble.  Annalisa grew up playing chamber music with the Chamber Music Connection, Inc., in Columbus, Ohio; her ensembles, as formed through this organization, attended the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition four times.  She now serves as Assistant Artistic Director at CMC.  Annalisa attended the ENCORE School for Strings in the summers of 2002, 2005, and 2006.
