Biography
After receiving three successive Fulbright Awards, I became the assistant to Igor Markevitch in Monte Carlo. Then followed an assistantship with  Leopold Stokowski. After serving a time as Executive Director of the Wilmington Music School, I was named Music Director of the Delaware Symphony. The Lancaster Symphony named me Music Director in the same year. In 1980, I began a recording career with the Slovak Philharmonic. I have recorded over 66 cd's mostly for Naxos, but also for Angel/EMI, Albany, Elan, Opus, and West Branch. Sales of my cd's have exceeded two million. In 2003, I conducted the Grammy nominated Symphony # 5 of Benjamin Lees. In 2002, I left the Delaware Symphony in order to devote ull time to the Lancaster Symphony.
Subsequently, I have conducted all over the world, including Berlin, Belgrade, Bogota, Budapest, Hong Kong.
