Charles Daniels is an English tenor with a wide-ranging repertoire, but his specialities are baroque and early music.  You can find a detailed biography on his agent's website (, and I will not add to it here except to say that he has made rather more recordings than are stated.  Even he has lost track of the total; there are about 150 listed on his official fan site (, but a number of those are re-issues.

Charles has a particularly distinctive voice which nonetheless blends well with other singers, and among baroque musicians his skill at ornamentation is extremely highly regarded.  Indeed, he never ornaments the same piece twice in the same way.
