Indianapolis, Indiana
Thursday, 20 May 2021 - 7:30 PM
1998 Gold Medalist Judith Ingolfsson and her husband/pianist Vladimir Stoupel return to Indianapolis to present repertoire from their 2019 recording La belle époque. The great Eugène Ysaÿe, considered to be the “King of the Violin,” inspired countless works and dedications throughout his life, including Théodore Dubois’ only violin sonata. César Franck wrote his A major violin sonata as a wedding present to Ysaÿe in 1886.
