The recital titled Impressions includes well known gems such as C. Debussy's imaginative and virtuosic Sonata for Violin and Piano and lyrical Poeme by E. Chausson inspired by Song of Triumphant Love written by Ivan Turgenev. True to her mission to always introduce the public to unfamiliar works, Joanna will present selections from G. Kurtag's Signs, Games and Messages for solo violin, a collection of personal miniatures, where the ultimate in expression comes from the most minimal of means. Celebrating composer’s 85th birthday the program includes K. Penderecki's striking and memorable Cadenza for solo violin.

E. Ysaye’s Reve D’enfant and G. Faure Apres un Reve are just short little dreams passing by. Finally Rhapsodic Fantasietta evokes the sweetly melancholic and joyous sides of Fritz Kreisler’s native Vienna.

The whole recital is an exquisite gallery of musical images full of originality and imagination.
