Trio Mirage Honors Recital

Each year, an audition committee of professional musicians selects a few exceptional student ensembles to represent the NEC Honors Ensemble Program. The ensembles work with a faculty coach and are given an opportunity to perform a spring recital in NEC's Jordan Hall.

Tonight's concert features Trio Mirage, a clarinet-cello-piano trio composed of Somin Lee, Sasha Scolnik-Brower, and Alex Beyer. This ensemble is coached by chamber music coach and cello teacher Laurence Lesser.

Trio Mirage formed in September 2017 over a mutual love of Brahms and beer. They have performed over two times at the New England Conservatory, and have played in a masterclass. They are thrilled to be working with Laurence Lesser.
