Conductor: Matthew Kraemer
Since the young age of 11, Midori has been astounding concert audiences the world over with her transcendent skill of the violin. In the ultimate tribute to Bruce Morton Wright’s legacy of presenting one-a-of-kind concerts to the Erie community, the ECO is honored to present one of the most wildly sought-after violinists in the world right here, in our own backyard. For free. Continuing our exploration into the Golden Age of movies, Midori’s Korngold concerto is surrounded by concert works from notable film composers Bernard Hermann, Aaron Copland and Miklos Rozsa, making this the breathtaking music event of the season!
