Piatigorsky's own incomparable version of this work is seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P... and I don't think anyone could ever capture the elegance and humor as well as he did, but it is still a charming and beautiful arrangement that should be played more often. I programed it to force myself to learn a better staccato!
