What a joyful concert! The quartet had a melded mellow sound together, but my eyes and ears were drawn to the first violinist with delight every time he reached up the e string. The tone was so sweet and accurate that I returned home and have been looking on the computer for the concert schedule for this group so that I could attend more performances. It seems that they have just come from New Zealand and will soon return to Germany after a one night stop this Friday in Ashville. I wish I could go to NC. I have also tried to find their recordings but have had no success so far.
