What a piece of music! You have not lived until you've heard a live performance of Doctor Atomic. I've been blessed to hear the SLSO perform it twice in Powell Hall and was blown away both times. Susan Slaughter's performance on trumpet is riveting and the tempo set by David Robertson keeps you on the edge of your seat.
