Hey eveyrone, i recently saw the WATCHMEN movie and heard the Philip Glass Orchestra song "Pruit Igoe & Prophecies" and thought it was AWESOME!! Check it out here: watchmenmusic.com
Now as a Philip Glass rookie what are some other good tracks to check out?
Any good ideas are greatly appreciated

About 2 years ago I attended the premiere of the new soundtrack for Tod Browning's 1931 horror classic, Dracula at an old converted synagogue on the lower east side. It was played on a piano, as I guess was the original score. I understand the original score was lost and Glass was commissioned to create a new score to commemorate an important anniversary of the film. The music was terrific, especially in the context of the film. It was later re-scored for a string quartet and recorded by Kronos. I haven't heard the latter with the movie but both are piano and quartet are available on Amazon and both are really terrific music.
The other great recent experience with Glass's music was Sataygraha at the Met. I don't think there is a recording and it will probably be a long time before it comes back but if it does DON'T MISS IT!

The "Songs from Liquid Days" are a remarkable collaboration between Glass (music) and Paul Simon, Suzanne Vega, David Byrne and Laurie Anderson (lyrics), with excellent vocal performances from Linda Ronstadt, the Roches, and others.
I'm also fond of "Einstein on the Beach." You may find much of that music similar to what you've heard in "Pruit Igoe & Prophecies"
