The Pinnacle Ensemble was founded in 2006 by its director Michael Waldron for a concert in Trinity College Chapel, Cambridge. Since its creation, the group has given concerts across the UK (most recently in Salisbury, Winchester and Portsmouth Cathedrals), as well as numerous venues across Cambridge and London. The Choir established itself as one of the finest and most diverse choral groups in Cambridge. Now based in London, the group exists as a professional chamber choir with repertoire ranging from Purcell, to contemporary works by Lukaszewski, MacMillan, Pärt and Tavener.

Since its creation, the group has given concerts across the UK (most recently in Salisbury, Winchester and Portsmouth Cathedrals), as well as numerous venues across Cambridge and London. The Choir established itself as one of the finest and most diverse choral groups in Cambridge. Now based in London and named after the building in which the new group was formed, the group exists as a professional chamber choir with repertoire ranging from Bach and Purcell, to contemporary works by Lukaszewski, MacMillan, Pärt and Tavener.

Alistair Digges Tenor Alistair Digges was born in Glasgow (1982) and received his early musical training as a boy treble and frequent soloist with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Junior Chorus, and as a horn player in the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland. He studied singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (Stevenson Scholarship) before moving to the Royal College of Music (Robertson, MBF and Sir James Caird Scholarships) where he currently learns under Michel Vallat. At the RCM, he was the 2006 winner of the Knights of the Round Table Prize and was awarded the Sir John Ackroyd scholarship to the Benjamin Britten International Opera School.
