The New York premiere of Widor: Quartet for Piano and Strings in A minor, Op. 66 was performed on September 16, 2009 at the New York Chamber Music Festival by the New York Piano Quartet: Metropolitan Opera Musicians (Elmira Darvarova, violin, Ronald Carbone, viola, Samuel Magill, cello and Linda Hall, piano). This New York premiere performance prompted the Fanfare Magazine to call it "...revelatory performance..stunning"
