THE RESURRECTION MUSIC SERIES, now in residence at St. Benedict Church, was established in 2003 with the vision to bring uplifting music into the heart of our City, to make world-class music approachable and part of everyday life. Join baroque scholar Stephen Alltop, internationally acclaimed soloists, members of the Apollo Chorus of Chicago and The Romanian Madrigal Consort for GLORIA, A FESTIVE CELEBRATION – a festive benefit concert to celebrate the Christmas Season. The program will feature Vivaldi's GLORIA, Handel's GLORIA, excerpts from Handel's MESSIAH as well as shorter choral works by Tallis, Praetorius, Schubert and Lauridsen, all in the beautiful setting of historical St. Benedict Church on Irving Park Road.
