Trevor New began his studies on the viola when he was 9 years old. He attended the Meadowmount School of Music in the summer as a student of Patricia McCarty and Alan Bodman in 2003-05, and 2007, and the National Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Music Institute in 2006 where he studied with William Foster.
