Robinson (Mr. CutTime): Gitcha Groove On! N/A
This new album by Detroit Symphony Orchestra bassist Rick Robinson continues the dramatic growth he suddenly acquired for his "accidental" grand orchestral work Essay (After Sibelius). Showing surprising skill at blending numerous styles, Robinson promises to leave us feeling exhausted with elation. This performance is the official premiere of these works, save for the Idyll for Solo English Horn, which will premiere Nov. 9. Seating is very limited. Call Arts League of Michigan in Detroit to reserve tickets.
