He has been J. Nepomuk David’s composition student in Germany, H. J. Koellreutter’s sudent in Brazil and O. Messiaen, W. Fortner, E. Krenek’s student in international summer courses. He has also studied conducting with L. von Matacic, R. Jubelik and Muller Kray in these courses. Mahle has lived in Brazil since 1951.
