Two of Australia’s finest musicians re-unite in this duo to bring to life the folklore, European legends and fiery South-American rhythms at the heart of flute and guitar repertoire. Each acclaimed soloists in their own right, Melissa and Dan first collaborated together as students at the Canberra School of Music. Individually they have built reputations as soloists and chamber musicians of the highest calibre with performances worldwide, including European tours, the BBC Proms, London’s Southbank, Sydney Opera House, Vietnam and the Middle East. With critical acclaim in the press in Australia and abroad and radio broadcasts including ABC (Australia) and the BBC (UK) they are a duo not to be missed.
