The organizers of Spring For Music strive to promote a national conversation about contemporary culture in and out of the classical music field. To that end—from March 26 through April 20—arts bloggers are invited to compete to be the best at their craft in North America. First prize is $2,500 and six pairs of tickets to the Spring For Music festival at Carnegie Hall in May 2012.
From May 7 through 12, the winning blogger will be encouraged to blog about the New York arts scene and experience all six Spring For Music concerts. All culture blogs—music, dance, theater, visual, general culture, architecture, movies, television, books—are invited to enter. Blog posts will be featured on the Spring For Music website and promoted by the festival's social media outlets, driving traffic to the blogs of all the participants and promoting the many fine-arts writers in this country.
Full details of how to enter the competition, judging, and blogging schedule are available at springformusic.com/arts-blogger-challenge/
