We've got a preview/review slated for Wayne Horvitz's Gravitas Quartet at REDCAT tonight; if you want to bide a couple hours on election night, this is the way to do it. Not quite the terrain of Claude Bolling, Freidrich Gulda or Keith Jarrett, Horvitz sticks well within chamber instrumentation settings but also creates space in pieces for improvisation. REDCAT always starts at 8:30 p.m.
