A summer report from James Zimmermann, principal clarinet : Earlier this week, Dan Lochrie and I went to visit Ramon Wodkowski, the world renowned clarinet mouthpiece craftsman who happens to be on faculty this summer at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival. Ramon lives in London, so we really lucked out with this one. Dan and I had him modify some mouthpieces of ours, and Dan also bought a new one - we’re excited to find out how they sound in the Schermerhorn!
