Classical Music Buzz > North Carolina Symphony Blog > TWO CONCERTS THIS WEEK AT BOOTH ...
We celebrate our nations' 236th birthday on  Wednesday, July 4 with a concert of patriotic favorites and high-spirited classics capped by the area's biggest fireworks display!  It's our traditional free Independence Day concert  and you won't want to miss the celebration. As with every Summerfest concert,  you're welcome to bring a picnic, including wine and beer. Come early to get the best seats and enjoy the beautiful surroundings at Booth Amphitheatre. William Henry Curry conducts.

Then on Saturday, July 7,  we'll take you away to the City of LIghts for a Summerfest finale to remember. Conductor Mischa Santora, vocalists Robb Asklof and Kersten Rodau, guitarist Robert Bell and accordionist Patrick Harison all join the orchestra for the  romantic and evocative "A Night in Paris." Pack your baguette, don your beret and bliss out with an evening of Django Reinhardt, Edith Piaf, Michel Legrand, Charles Dumont and many more.  Don't let summer fade away without an evening at Summerfest!
