across the country to form the National
Youth Orchestra of the United States of America. Below, Carnegie Hall's Executive and Artistic Director Clive
Gillinson reflects on his experience in Great Britain's National
Youth Orchestra and how it transformed his musical and personal
horizons.
"[The orchestra] gave me the inspiration for a life in music."
—Clive Gillinson, Executive and Artistic Director of Carnegie Hall
