Just was noticing that a recent review the Oregon Symphony’s season-closing concerts of Adams and Stravinsky failed to mention Principal trombonist Aaron LaVere’s stunning playing in the incredibly demanding solo in the second movement of the Adams. Well, I noticed, and Aaron played amazingly both nights. Bravo, Aaron!!
