Stefano Burbi was born in Florence Italy. At only 4 years old, he already showed a strong musical inclination, and started taking piano lessons with Maestra Antonini. He continued his studies at the Conservatory Luigi Cherubini in Florence, where he also started taking singing lessons as a baritone with G. Raimondi.
In 1984 he founded the Amadeus Chorus and the following year the orchestra with the same name. His purpose was to recreate a musical team in Italy like the one in the Anglo-Saxon countries, composed of professionals and amateurs.
Since 2007, Burbi has been the conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Florence. In the last few years, Stefano Burbi has written several soundtracks He is the president of Associazione Mozart Italia, Florence.
