Not a lot happening around here today - but I am looking forward this evening to a recital at the Casino Club by the excellent young soprano Caitlin Lynch. This is a private event - but it will give us all the opportunity to encounter this gifted young singer before seeing her again later in the year in the role of Eliza in Nico Muhly's Dark Sisters, one the the more significant opera events of the coming fall season.
