Having spent half of my life in some sort of choir, there is a special place in my heart for a cappella choral music.  I'm not sure about you, but when listing to Faure's Requiem or Vaughan William's Mass in G minor I get goosebumps when the orchestra drops out and all that is left are the choir's voices.  Choirs like the Dale Warland Singers and Westminster Choir, which make up a large part of my choral music collection on my iPod, make a cappella seam so easy, when in fact it is not.  Without any accompaniment, it's easy for any choir to end several steps flat or sharp by the end of the piece.  What are your favorite a cappella works?  Favorite choirs?   What are your experiences with sining a cappella music?
