Paul BernsHi Everyone:

I have not written for awhile - just too busy.! But, we are getting excited about this summer's run at Symphony on the Prairie.  The music looks fantastic.

Was at Home Depot (kitchen remodeling project and porch furniture) and I saw a couple picking out chairs and discussing if the attached umbrella would bother other concert goers at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra concerts this summer.  So, we struck up a conversation - they recognized me (darn pony tail).  A great couple - they also purchase a table for family evenings a couple of times each summer.  They prefer the evenings with classical concerts, although they always go the fourth of July.  Hope to see them there.

And then the other day at Marsh seeing some friends wishing us a successful "run at the prairie".

I hope to see many of you this summer.  Music looks great, orchestra really sounds good (did you hear our last Pops concert with the Cirque performers?) and this morning we are preparing for the masterpiece:  Beethoven's Symphony Number 9 - this is a must for your entire family.  Classical music at its best - also our Happy Hour crowd should try this Beethoven 'monster'.

Take care everyone - what a great orchestra season this has been = SO FAR!
