There is yet another sign that symphony orchestras and other arts organizations are still being affected by the economic realities across the country, according to excerpts from a press release issued from the American Federation of Musicians: The American Federation of Musicians (AFM) is disappointed in the decision of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra board of directors to suspend symphony operations. In addition, the board voted to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
