For the second item in the music selections available here, I am pleased to offer a Haydn string quartet, the Op. 20, No. 3 in G minor, performed live at Spivey Hall by the Daedalus Quartet.
The Daedalus was very honored to be invited to open Spivey Hall's 2008-2009 season; this performance took place on September 20 in this true acoustic gem of a recital hall.
The Daedalus will record all six Op. 20 quartets of Haydn for Bridge Records early in 2009, with the release anticipated by the fall.
