Hugh Sung
Music Meets Tech is a friendly show about the fascinating technologies available for the Classical Musician. Hosted by Hugh Sung, Resident Pianist of The Curtis Institute of Music, MMT aims to help musicians adopt technology to enhance their art and lifestyle.
36 Episodes

Hugh Sung, pianist and host of the "Clair de lune from Scratch" video piano lesson series, discusses the limitations of entry and mid-range digital pianos, and how the virtual piano program Pianoteq by Modartt enables an unprecedented level of musical expression. Dispensing with 1980's sample-trigger technologies that hamper digital keyboards, Pianoteq actually models the physics of the piano sound components in real time. Tone, color, and textural effects are now possible with the Pianoteq program, along with an incredible array of instrument customization and virtual recording tools. Hugh demonstrates the expressive capabilities of the Pianoteq virtual piano in a performance of Debussy's masterpiece, "Clair de lune". Pianoteq is available for immediate download for Mac, PC, and Linux computers.

Thanks to that crazy radio finance guy Dave Ramsey, we finally paid off almost $55,000 in debts within 9 months using his common-sense "debt snowball" system! To celebrate, the Sung family created a fun video "dramatization" depicting what our phonecall would be like to "The Dave Ramsey Show", talking about how we got out of debt and how we would scream "WE'RE DEBT FREEEEEEEE!!!" Kudos to my kids for being such good sports, and to my wonderful wife for allowing me to share the good news to the world! No more rice and beans for us, no more 'starving artist' mentality - if you want to have some inspiration and inertia to attack your own debts, then visit either www.DaveRamsey.com or www.MyTotalMoneyMakeover.com. Thanks Dave!!
