Who are Partners?
Partners are our featured artists, competitions, composers, conductors, conservatories, and ensembles that have individual "boutiques" within our site hosting all of their content. This allows you to search within their boutique to find all their concert listings, downloads, streaming and Podcast events as well as other special news and information.
How do I access my Boutique's Control Panel?
To log into your boutique's control panel:
Click "Login" in the top, right corner of the screen.
Enter your username and password.
Click the "My Profile" link that appears in the same area.
Select Control Panel from the options on the left.
What is the Announcement feature?
The Announcement feature lets you place text, images, or any content at
the top of your boutique for your visitors to view. Use this space to
let people know about important upcoming concerts, when new music is
available, or any news of interest.
How do I add a Photo Album to my Boutique?
Your
boutique is a great place to store images related to you and your
music. From the "Photos" tab in the control panel, type in the name of
your album and click "Create New Album". You may add as many albums as
you like.
To add photos to the album, click on its title to view
the uploads page. Give your photo a title and set the date it was
taken. When possible, please give credit to the photographer in the
description and please do not upload photos to which you do not have
the rights. You can then browse to the file on your computer and click
"add photo" to complete the process.
What do I do to start Blogging?
Starting your Blog is easy! Navigate to the 'Blog' tab in the control
panel. You will then be prompted to give your Blog a name and a short
description.
You can then start writing individual Blog posts. We recommend saving
drafts often so you don't run the risk of losing any work. To return to
a draft at a later date, find it under the "Drafts" list on the left
and click the "Edit" button. Once complete, clicking "Publish" will load
it on to your boutique. You can always re-visit an already published
Blog post by finding it under "Blog Entries" and clicking the "Edit"
button there.
How do I display Videos?
To add Videos to your boutique, first you must upload them to YouTube or find some that have been previously made available.
YouTube will provide HTML code used to embed videos into websites. Take this code and go to http://www.instantencore.com/video/add.aspx, paste it into the text box, and click "Continue". InstantEncore will then provide you with the ability to tag the video with our extensive database of classical music metadata, allowing users to find it as easily as they would a concert listing or music package.
The Final step is to click the "Add to Boutique" link beneath the video. When you return to your Control Panel and go to the "Video" tab, any videos you have added will show up in a list. You can customize the order of this list however you like, keeping in mind that links to the top three videos will display on the main page of your boutique.
Can I upload my Videos directly to InstantEncore?
At this
time, InstantEncore only offers the service of linking to YouTube
videos. We can not guarantee that other video sharing sites will be
compatible with our system.
